Many hands make like work...or in this case many bees. We have started a bee keeping project in the district to help generate income for the churches. It is a simple project because it is not labor intensive and does not add a huge burden to people that already struggle on a daily basis to have food, medicine when children are sick, and school fees every January.
We hope that this becomes a way for churches to be able to support their pastors and be able to do ministry in the community even when they are only bringing in $15-$20 a month in offering.
We have several more churches we want to help start this income generating project. It costs $800 to get a new church set-up with everything they need. Not a bad project for a small group to take on.
